This semester was fun, my professors were awesome except for one but we worked it out. I just wish there were parties at mercy university, actually fun parties like the kind mercy used to throw before the pandemic hit. It’s hard for me to meet new people when the only people I ever see are the people in my classes. I want to meet other students and have fun!
Mercy is one of the best schools. The only thing I don't like is the cafeteria food, and the amount of exams we take in some classes is too low to boost our grade.
Mercy had beautiful sites near the water and many interesting activities could be done all the time.
I love how intimate the Manhattan campus was before the expansion. I would love for Mercy to incorporate a lab in the Manhattan campus so traveling for Science classes is an option!
Mercy is known for its diversified atmosphere. You see all types of ethnic groups working together. The professors are very inspirational and knowledgeable. Its small classes allow students to learn on a one-on-one basis with their professor, allowing a more comfortable arena. As a student, I love going here, staff like the cleaning personnel up until President Parish all people with whom one may encounter a learning experience.
I'm an arts major and there's tons of classes that fit my major and for gen eds there's lots of room to fill reqs w/o having to be in dread for an entire semester. Professors are good, I've enjoyed most of mine, even if I haven't had the greatest experience with all, and heard horror stories about others, check ratemyprofessor! Dorms can be iffy, if you end up in Founders, gl, communal bathrooms, flooding, and cockroaches await. If you end up in Hudson, the worst you'll have to deal with is broken elevators and fights with your roommates(dont expect help from mercy, this goes for p much everything). As for food, go grocery shopping at all costs! Unless you're okay with undercooked or nastiness daily. There's a fast food place at Vic Hall, but you're gonna be eating that for a year. And be prepared to walk, you cant have a car, and most doors that would allow easy shortcuts to save time are locked so prepare to take the long route. Other than that, have fun ;)
I love everyone! They are all nice, understandable, respectful, and lovely. I personally love all the Staff. Especially the Staffs that are at the Cafeteria.
Mercy University gives out many opportunities. I was grateful to attend the Eastern Psychological Association with my professor and peers. For psychology majors who are unsure if they want to pursue research. STEM Ready Institute is a great start. Mercy University has three campuses. One thing I would like to see change is if they can provide more classes on the Manhattan campus. I took some courses online because they did not provide them on the Manhattan campus. They would provide those classes on the Dobbs Ferry campus but late at night.
At Mercy University, there were a lot of good and helpful people for my first year of college. As I am about to wrap up this academic year as a freshman, I would like to say that the environment of the campus, professors, and all of the helpful services, especially PACT and the Office of ACESSibility, for navigating my struggles and complications, including the proctoring and the extra time for quizzes and exams that I can't complete in a short amount of time. Everyone is very nice here at Mercy. I do not have anything that needs to be changed here. Everything looks perfect for my dream college since I was in 8th grade. I am having a really good time at Mercy this year and even though my first year was rocky at first, I was able to get a hold of the workload and try to divide it up in easier chunks and not get myself too worked up. Mercy University is the place I like to be in.
The school is very nice. Having 3 campus and also having classes online is very convenient to all students. They have plenty of events and clubs for all students interested.
I attend Mercy University at Dobbs Ferry, NY and I am due to graduate in the May. I am in the social work program and I absolutely love my professors. My cohort and I have hard conversations that are necessary in order to advance in the social work realm; our professors grant us a safe space to get there. Professors outside of the program have been mostly good!
I am older than most of the students in my program, but they often would say that there is limited night-life party scene. That was actually the one thing most everyone complained about, that there isn't much to do for younger people after class. The campus life is subpar at best. As an older student, it is fine for me.

I would like to see better professors that actually care about their students and want to make the the information easier to understand.
my experience has been unpleasant im not informed of alot of things and struggle to find adequate help.
The professors and education system at Mercy is amazing, atleast for my major. The material is very informative, professors are very helpful and they reply promptly to any query you may have. They are also open to helping you pursue your interest and future goals which I found super sweet. The campus itself is very beautiful and near an ideal location. The readings are very enlightening for me and so far I find the resources at mercy very helpful and the library is very nice too. The on campus activities are a little spaced out but fun nonetheless. The clubs are very engaging and welcoming. I also love all the equipments available on campus. Gym, food and transport services. You get it all when you're a part of Mercy!
Mercy College was a good school if you were a commuter student. Most professors taught part time as they also were still in their careers which is a bonus as they shared their real life experiences with us. I would like to see improved student life and more opportunities for alumni.
It has been wonderful so far. I am a commuter and so far I’m learning a lot. Great first year experience. Looking forward to next year!
I came from a CUNY school and immediately felt the difference. The professors I've had have been helpful and the faculty are very helpful. They definitely want you to pass and they help you as long as you do your work.
Mercy University’s is a very safe campus and its looks very nice but there isn’t much support provided to students and the food sometimes in inedible unless there is a tour. Mercy does offer classes online and in person that require a reasonable amount of time to have to put into them. Something that I would like to see change is the support towards students and for the staff to be more attentive towards students and food to be better and cheaper.
My experience here at Mercy University has been amazing from start to present. I can’t imagine being apart of another community other than Mercy. The faculty and students are so welcoming and supportive. Professors here at Mercy truly care for their students and the needs of them. I like that Mercy feels like home and how enjoyable they make learning! I am so happy here, it has been an amazing experience so far and I wish for everyone to feel this way when learning. There is currently nothing at the moment that I would change about the school.
I liked that the professors i had were chill and weren't all hard. The PACT mentors helped a lot. The school itself is an amazing opportunity. Something that should change is probably a bigger prayer room. The prayer room there is literally a small office and can't fit that much people. Other than that the experience was amazing.
