About this page

Attendees on a campus tour led by a student ambassador wearing a red t-shirt.

We think the best way to experience the atmosphere of Central is to visit our Swiss Cottage Campus in London. We offer a wide range of different options to visit us throughout the year and feel the buzz of our community. If you are thinking about applying for a Central course, or want to find out more about student life, then check out one of the options below.

Please note that in-person auditions or interviews will normally include a tour of the Central campus.

Open Days at Central

Open Days are the ideal way to explore our campuses, performance and production spaces, meet academic staff and current students and take part in activities related to your course.  You’ll also be able to get advice about things like student finance and student support, find out how to prepare for auditions and interviews and get a general feel for how student life is at Central.

We run two undergraduate open days and three postgraduate open evenings per academic year.

Our next postgraduate open evening is taking place on Wednesday 22 April and you book on the link at the bottom of this page.

Our next undergraduate open day will be on Saturday 29 June 2024. Bookings are now open! Link at the bottom of this page

Campus Tours

We run campus tours regularly throughout the year. Our group tours are an extremely popular way for prospective applicants to view the campus, and find out more about student life at Central. They usually take around an hour and are run by a member of our Student Recruitment team.

Our tours are specific to undergraduate and postgraduate so we can ensure you have the most relevant information.

School Visits

We often welcome school groups to Central for tours and talks about careers in the arts and our courses. If you are a teacher looking to organise a tour for your students or wish to come and see a Central production, please email us at [email protected]

See a show, exhibition or public work

We are extremely proud of the quality of work that our students produce and, what’s even better is that much of it is open to the public. You can come and see a show or view public-facing student work throughout the academic year.

Can’t make it to London?

If you are unable to visit our campus in London, then you can take a virtual tour of the facilities at our Swiss Cottage Campus. You can view this on a PC, Mobile Device or with a phone-compatible virtual reality headset.
