Dublin Jerome High School Reviews
Rating 4.12 out of 5 290 reviews
So far, I've mostly had an amazing time here. The school is decently competitive, but it's not as competitive as it was 10 years ago. The teachers have been great, though some are unsupportive of your goals if you're ambitious. A majority also tend to be tough graders. You'll easily make friends here, just be aware that some students here are not very forgiving and will make you feel worthless, though that's only a small minority.
During my time at Dublin Jerome High School, I have grown not just as a student but as a person. The best part of my experience would be the people I have met and grew with. The teachers are very compassionate and committed to preparing the students for not only graduation but also for our future. The students are very accepting and passionate about their education. Though I can't recall any truly terrible experiences, something that I would like to see change would be how people appreciate other sports such as Marching Band. Though I understand the importance and popularity of other sports such as football, as someone who is in the Dublin Jerome Marching Band I feel like we, and our accomplishments for our school, go mostly unnoticed.
Dublin Jerome High School is the most rigorous out of all three Dublin Schools. The way the teachers teach at this school is more challenging than the other two schools. I had an excellent experience at Jerome. My classes were nice, I had a great teacher and peers. One part I admire about the school is the diversity Jerome has. Jerome also uses diversity to its potential by having numerous clubs for diverse students. One club is our culture club where every month we celebrate a different culture and students will perform dances and make food that they will share during lunch. I always enjoyed walking around my lunch with my friends and learning about all the different cultures right here in this school. What I would like to see changed is for the school to prepare us for college even as a freshman. As a current senior, I wish I could go back in time and do more research on colleges with the guidance of teachers and counselors.
