After Buffy The Vampire Slayer ended in 2002, actress Sarah Hagan went on to work on other projects in film and television. The actress played a Potential Slayer named Amanda in season 7 of the hit supernatural drama series. She first appeared in season 7, episode 4, "Help", as member of a supposedly random group of students showing up at Buffy's guidance office.

It's eventually revealed that Amanda was sent to Buffy for beating up a student who is picking on her; a few episodes later in episode 12, "Potential", viewers learn that Amanda is actually a Potential Slayer. In fact, she ends up slaying a vampire who threatens her. Later, Amanda moves into the Summers' home, training to become a Slayer and becomes friends with the other Potentials who are staying in Buffy's home. In the series finale of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, "Chosen", Amanda is finally activated as a Slayer—along with all the other Potentials—and helps battle against an army of vampires. The last shot of Amanda sees her falling, apparently dead after a vampire snaps her neck.
