- MeWexford, Ireland9 contributionsDown what seems to be a backstreet in Carrick on Suir is this historical gem. Fabulously restored and with an incredibly interesting history. Do go on a guided tour, as there’s so much history to tell. We’ve done this twice and both times the guides have been great. As the footfall is pretty quiet, you may well get a personal tour with a very knowledgeable guide for one of cheapest hours of entertainment you can possibly buy.
