The Ministry of Education has announced the results of national examinations for secondary schools on Thursday December 15, 2022.  A total of 44,818 (94.6%) out of 47,379 (99,5 %) students who sat for the General Education passed, while for TVET, a total of 20,752 (97,8 %) out of 21,227 (99,5%) students who sat for exams passed.  As for performance in TTC, a total of 2,892 (99,9%) out of 2,895(99,6%) students who sat for the exams passed.

Alexis Ndahimana who studied studied at ES Kirinda, situated in Karongi district of Western Province disclosed that he put a great deal of effort in studying to be at the top of 5 best students in General Education.  “It requires energy, concentration, working hard, and sleeping less than usual to be at this stage.” He stressed.

We congratulate students and this would not have been possible without teachers’ and parents’ support.” The minister said.

 There are two ways of checking the national exams results including (i) the use of the link available at the NESA’s Website in the category of exam results (https://sdms.gov.rw/sas-ui/) and (ii) the use of Short Message Service (SMS). On Mobile Phone, one can go to SMS and write index number, ID number and then send to 8888.

The best 5 candidates in General Education are Ndahimana Alexis from ES Kirinda, Ineza Orlyse from Gashora Girls Academy of Science and Technology, Gwiza Ngamije Nesta from Petit Seminaire Virgo Fidelis de Butare, Niyoyavuze Karebu from Cornestone Leadeship Academy and Ntakirutimana Elie from G.S.O Butare.

As for TVET, the best 6 candidates are Hirwa Sebera Arnaud from Rwanda School of Creative Arts and Music, Ashimwe Sibomana Reponse from World Mission Secondary School, Nyandwi Emmanuel from Kageyo TVET School, Dukundimana Claude from IPRC TSS/ Kigali, Uwimbabazi charlotte from ACEJ Karama, and Irumva Habumugisha Anselme from Rwanda Coding Academy.

The best 5 candidates in TTC are Kimenyi Frank from TTC Save, Uwamahoro Donat from TTC Mururu, Uwamaliya Chantal from TTC Save, Niyomukiza Elie from TTC Rubengera, Niyomungeli Olivier from TTC Rubengera.
