The McDonough School of Business’ vision is to support the campus-wide mission of Georgetown University by providing curricular and co-curricular programs that educate lifelong learners and emphasize academic excellence, integrity, and civic and community outreach.
Mission
Georgetown McDonough’s mission is to educate students to be ethically responsible and effective business leaders. Our goal is that students be able to improve the management of existing organizations and create new ones in order to responsibly help raise global standards of living. The learning goals focus on business knowledge; management, analytical, and communication skills; and unique Georgetown perspectives.

The McDonough Success Fund reduces financial barriers for Undergraduate Georgetown McDonough students pursuing academic, career, or professional development opportunities by covering emergency expenses due to extenuating circumstances and allowing students to pursue transformative global learning experiences.
Transfer Internally to the McDonough School of Business
Currently enrolled Georgetown University undergraduate students in the Georgetown College of Arts & Science, the School of Foreign Service, School or Health, or the School of Nursing, can opt to internally transfer to the McDonough School of Business.
