Bheki Khumalo (50)

Bheki Khumalo was appointed Executive Vice President: Human Resources at Sibanye- Stillwater on 19 April 2021, having previously served as Senior Vice President and head of Human Resources of Sibanye-Stillwater’s SA PGM Segment after the Lonmin Acquisition in June 2019. Prior to this Bheki served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Organisational Development and Communications of Sibanye-Stillwater’s SA Region in 2018 to 2019. Bheki’s other role within Sibanye- Stillwater was that of Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources of the SA PGM since Sibanye- Stillwater’s acquisitions of its Kroondal and Rustenburg operations in May 2016. He is the former Non-Executive Director of Puma Gold (Pty) Ltd, South Gold Exploration (Pty) Ltd and Great Basin Gold RSA (Pty), all gold mines which were under business rescue at the time. Bheki is a registered Clinical Psychologist and an admitted attorney with experience that spans over 20 years, combining experience in legal practice and at business executive level.  His vast experience covers all areas of Human resources, Legal and Regulatory compliance, Business Integration, restructuring and optimization of businesses in the mining, ICT and metal manufacturing industry.
