We asked the locals where the best spot for breakfast in Memphis was and we received several recommendations for Brother Juniper's. We arrived early, per recommendations, and were seated as soon as we arrived. Our server was super attentive and before we knew it we...had a steaming cup of coffee in front of us and we were putting in our orders. The atmosphere at Brother Junipers is what I would call eclectic. From the mismatched coffee mugs to the spartan-style dining tables and benches to the various artists on display, you find yourself people watching, enjoying the hustle and bustle of the staff. The menu at Brother Juniper's is big and could be classified as a bit overwhelming. From omelette's to pancakes to benedicts, there is something for every palate on this menu. We ordered a "P4" a potato dish with feta, spinach, mushrooms, cheese, and potatoes and a Momma Lil's special - an omelette loaded with peppers, mushrooms, spinach, home fries and salmon. Both were wonderful - crispy home fries, cheesy goodness melded perfectly with the spinach and mushrooms. Momma Lil's was anything but lil (see what I did there?) The omelette was perfectly cooked and the salmon was piled high. Neither of us left hungry. Between the friendliness of the staff, quick service and quality of the food, we will definitely return.More
