Watch While You Can: Everything Leaving Netflix in June 2024

Every month, Netflix renegotiates contracts and has to get rid of some of its programming. Here are the shows and movies that will disappear from the platform in June 2024.

Netflix is always adjusting its offerings and adding new content to draw in subscribers. But to make room for the fresh stuff, some of the movies and TV shows you've always wanted to watch—and have had on your to-watch list for months—have to be removed from the service.

That's because Netflix doesn't own all the content it streams. The contracts it has with networks, production companies, and movie studios mean much of that externally-made programming comes and goes all the time. So each month, we keep you up to date with a list of what's leaving the service. We'll highlight our top choices for what you should view in June before they're gone, and below that, we'll share the full list.

Bullet Train (June 2)

If you're looking for an action movie with solid stunts that won't tax your brain too much, 2022's Bullet Train is a fine choice. Brad Pitt stars as an assassin tasked with retrieving a briefcase full of cash on a fast-moving Japanese train, only to come into conflict with the Yakuza, the Russian mafia, and a variety of colorful characters. It takes advantage of the setting in a lot of fun ways, even if it's not the most original movie you'll ever see.

A Nightmare on Elm Street Franchise (June 30)

Another horror franchise is leaving the streamer this month, as the first five Nightmare on Elm Street flicks as well as the remake are all gone on June 30. While they vary widely in quality, there's no denying that the first one remains terrifying to this day, the third is goofy fun, and there's great kills to be found throughout. Have a summer Freddy marathon before they leave the service.

Kill Bill (June 30)

With Quentin Tarantino announcing plans for his final film, there's no better time to revisit the genre-busting Kill Bill. Not only is it a bloody, propulsive good time, it also pioneered the now-standard practice of splitting a long movie into two chunks so you don't have to spend all day in the theater. Kill Bill is probably the purest distillation of the director's love for exploitation action movies, the cast is great and it was a huge box office success.
