Reviews
- My edition is slightly different : the center labels shows "JD 3001" instead "311" and "312", and "RECORD ONE" / "RECORD TWO" and above "SIDE 1" and "SIDE 2"
referencing The Jazz Composer's Orchestra (2×LP) JD 3001
Everything here is OK , what do you expect from a free jazz big band !
The Cecil Taylor"concerto" on Communications 11 on both sides C and D with Andrew Cyrille on drums sent me on the moon when I was still in my teens . Imagine the racket you got on headphones !! One of the most amazing Taylor / Cyrille performance ever heard with Silva, Cunningham and Reggie Johnson on bass which sound like Bill Dixon's concept.
Also Larry Corryell contribution is one of the nicest noise thing I heard , similar of G Dead's Feedback or VelvetU's WL/ WH ...... ghosh !
