Great disco production especially for a Nashville studio in 1979 compared to the big LA productions like Casablanca records for example. Yes, the spoken word stuff is cheesy but put it in its context.

I think the only similarities to Barry White is the romantic spoken word thing and Barry had Ed Greene’s drums far higher in the mix than this Bill guy.

‘Remembering the good’ second half is great. Strings and groove. I love it

Who would have guessed that mixing country and disco could work so well? This album reminds me of Barry White...but slightly lighter. His cover of Kiss You All Over sounds so much sweeter than Exile's. On the right turntable, you can really hear the love in every love song.
