Newly-Renovated Hotel Near Disneyland Comes With All Sorts of Cool Freebies
Disney vacations are tons of fun and make for amazing memories, but they're notoriously tough on your wallet. Even after you've bought all your tickets, made your reservations, bought Genie+, etc., there's still food, souvenirs, and other stuff to pick up while you're in the parks. With all that strain on your pocketbook, it'd sure be nice to score a few freebies for once.
Luckily, if you're visiting Disneyland California, you might get the opportunity to give yourself something back in the form of free perks. This charming boutique hotel, which has been a staple stay in Anaheim for over 50 years, is beloved not just for its chic renovated look and its proximity to Disneyland, but for all the amazing freebies it has for guests!
This place is it! After staying at the Candy Cane Inn during cheer competitions growing up, @krystaldrosario fell in love, and she still gives this chic boutique hotel a ringing endorsement to this day. For one, the location is unbeatable. Not only is it right by the Anaheim Convention Center, but according to Krystal, it's only about a six-minute walk to the entrance of Disneyland California. If you'd rather save your steps for the park, though, the Candy Cane Inn runs shuttle service to and from the park, completely gratis. Speaking of freebies...
Guests staying in any of the Candy Cane Inn's rooms get to enjoy free shuttle service, free parking, and a delicious-looking continental breakfast spread - also free, obviously. Oh, and lest I forget: as the name suggests, free cany canes for every room! This is great, but not that out of the ordinary (aside from the candy canes). However, guests in a premium room get to reap even more free rewards: an exclusive welcome gift, nightly turndown service, extended check-out, and even in-room breakfast if you don't feel like braving the breakfast buffet!
Room Rates at the Candy Cane Inn
This all sounds really appealing. Aside from the convenient location and the scores of free perks, the hotel itself just looks beautiful, particularly in the dining room and pool terrace. Definitely a big step up from your average chain hotel!
Unfortunately, that step up in quality also comes with a step up in price. Though I always give the caveat that hotel room rates vary a lot, I checked a number of different dates on the Candy Cane Inn's website, and the cheapest room rates I saw started at around $327 a night on average. If you're booking a deluxe or premium room, you can expect those rates to jump up to $360-400 a night. We're definitely talking boutique hotel prices here. Still, compared to room rates at the official Disneyland resort hotels, it's practically a steal!
If you want to stay somewhere swanky and close to Disneyland without paying Disneyland hotel rates, I think the Candy Cane Inn presents a great happy medium. Besides, who doesn't like a side of free candy with their room?
