The concert features about 100 of our musicians in Y7-10 and the following groups are playing – Junior Band, Junior Choir, SAJE (St Aidan’s Jazz ensemble), WADE (West African Drumming Ensemble), APE (Aidan’s Percussion ensemble), String ensemble and Aidan’s Flame. Refreshments will be provided by our Music Parents Association SAMA.

No need to learn anything in advance. You will be learning a song from the show and some movement/dance at the audition. Please be prepared to speak and show that you can act.
Wear comfortable clothing for the audition so that you can move around.
Call backs will be decided from this audition.
This show has over 25 named parts for all ages, so we would love as many people to audition as possible!
Opportunities to sign up/audition for the show band will be in September.
Late Applications
Students who would like to apply for a place in the Associated Sixth Form, have missed the application deadlines, however Applications will be reopened on 22 August (GCSE Results Day) here, on our websites. Applicants should complete the form, either Internal Application (someone who was in Year 11 at St Aidan’s or St John Fisher) or External Application (students from other schools) on 22 August and email their GCSE statement of results at the same time to associatedsixthform@staidans.co.uk. They will be contacted within a few days to be told if we can offer them a place on their chosen courses.
