Midfielder Harpreet Ghotra, who has worn the eagle on his chest since 2015, continues his path in the Eintracht Frankfurt jersey.
Harpreet Ghotra was born in Frankfurt and he moved to Riederwald for the 2015/16 season to then play for the Eintracht youth teams.
In the past 2022/23 season, Harpreet Ghotra, nicknamed Sam, celebrated the championship in the LOTTO Hessenliga with the U-21s. The midfielder contributed three goals and two assists in 24 games in the promotion year, as well as five appearances in the UEFA Youth League. In the current season, the 21-year-old has made 23 appearances for the oldest training class in the Regionalliga Südwest so far, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
Nino Berndroth, Head of Squad Planning U-17 – U-21, said, “Sam is an important part of our team. He has developed well this season and earned his playing time in the Regionalliga. Sam is a home-grown player from Frankfurt who feels at home here. At the same time, we are happy about his qualities and that he will continue on his path at Eintracht Frankfurt.”
