Lemoyne Clapp Obituary

Mrs. Lemoyne (the name I knew her by) was my preschool teacher back in 1988. I'm almost 37 now, yet I remember her vividly!! She was my favorite teacher & I absolutely adored her! I didn't realize she had passed away...I apologize for my very late condolences.. To the Clapp family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Mrs. Lemoyne will always hold a very special place in my heart. She was a wonderful woman!!

Phil Im so sorry I do not take the paper and just saw this about Mrs Clapp passing . I m sorry if I would have known I would have come to the service. Me and Dad love you both and it meant so much to me talking to both of you at your home after Dad died . You were both so kind . You and Dad had a lot of good times together and I know we will all one day have more of them when the time is right . I Love you my friend and tried to call but could not get threw will try again later .

Aunt Margie loved her, as well as my mother, Jane McNeely. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I first met Lemoyne in 1982 and I knew immediately that we would be friends for a very long time. She was one of a kind. We had a lot of good times together and she loved talking to me about her grandchildren and kids, who by the way, are all perfect. We will never forget her and she will remain in our hearts forever. God bless you all during this very sad and difficult time. May God put peace and comfort in your hearts. I love you all. Heaven definitely gained a feisty and Sassy beautiful angel. Mrs. Moyne touched our life at South-Young High School in school with Krisden and PJ and through Sevier Heights Baptist Church Daycare several years ago. She was such a loving and kind woman. We are blessed to have known her in this life. Heaven gained a wonderful Angel. May precious memories sustain you in the days and weeks ahead.

I am so sorry to hear about Lemoyne;'s passing. She was such a beautiful person inside and out. Her laughter lit up the whole room and just being around her made you smile. There are so many memories passing through my mind as I think about her and the many things we shared over the years. One special memory that comes to mind is when I saw her in the grocery store after a dear friend of mine had passed away she started talking to me about her and she ended up putting her arms around me and we both shed many. many tears right there in the middle of the store. She was that kind of person. One that would feel your pain and know how to make you feel better with just being herself. She was also my daughter's babysitter when she was young and my daughter totally adored her and felt so much love from her. She has always held a special place in Ashley's heart. I could go on and on there would never be enough good words to say about Lemoyne. She will be so missed by all those whose lives she touched but especially by her family and those who loved her. She was an angel here on earth and now she is an angel in our heavenly father's arms (and I bet she has everybody cracking up in heaven with that wonderful personality and gift of laughter). She will be missed so much. To the family, my thoughts love and prayers are coming your way. Let God's love surround you and give you strength at this difficult time.

We are loosing all the amazing moms that cared for and nurtured us all. We lost mother 2 months ago....... and so many others have past. I understand your sadness and loss. I have known Lemoyne since second grade; we went through school, and graduated together. She was always a happy, bubbly,loving friend. Then we were busy raising our children, but in later years we enjoyed getting together, reminiscing about "the good ol' days!" She was certainly "one of a kind, a real jewel" who would do anything for those around her. I will certainly miss my dear friend.
