Crime Doctor's Man Hunt is a 1946 psychiatrist
detective murder mystery starring Warner Baxter, Ellen Drew, Claire Carleton, and William Frawley. It is the seventh of ten films in the Crime Doctor series. It also features Myron Healey, Bernard Nedell, and Frank Sully.
Synopsis: Criminal psychiatrist Dr. Robert Ordway is consulted by an ex-serviceman suffering from
temporary loss of memory spells, during which he finds himself
wandering around in an unfamiliar part of the city. While Ordway tries to reassure his patient that his subconscious mind knows what it's looking for even though his conscious mind does not, the doctor, nevertheless, decides to visit the area of town one night where the patient said he roams around; and, unfortunately, stumbles upon two men disposing of the body of his murdered patient. Ordway, thereafter, proceeds to apply his investigative skills in hopes of discovering the reason for the murder of his patient and the identity of the party or parties responsible for it.
