We perform checks on reviews
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So disappointed. We usually stay at the other camping but decided to give this one a try. Never again. The bathrooms and showers were unkept, moldy and dirty with cobwebs that tell you they are not maintained properly. WiFi is sketchy at best and one of the staff was quite rude when we asked questions about the park and when we were outside the door overheard him complaining to a colleague that we were difficult. Really? If you cannot answer simple questions about your place of employ ask for training or get another job. We will never stay here again.

Particularly gorgeous in winter. Hauntingly beautiful views of the islands off shore with spectacular cliffs.

Gorgeous scenery, lovely place to go for a walk, there's some really neat rock peninsulas to go out on. Sandy Beach is a lovely place for a dip on a warm day. There's a nice play ground and soccer fields. They have a canteen and rides in the summer. Great place to spend the day.

Probably the most underused park in Thunder Bay, Nice walking area and beach. Would be much nicer if the city really cared. No bus transportation.

We did not camp but we did go for a picnic. Very nice large park with fairway rides for young children clean washroom facilities. Lots of parking. It was not very busy when we were there. There is beach access as well
There is no charge to use the park.

We are here for only a few nights. Talking about extending. This is a beautiful RV. This afternoon we found here was a jam session going on with people dancing along. I think I would like to come back for a much longer period.

We are on a cross country drive. Price is too higher for what it is. Beach had a health warning on it. Tent sites have little privacy, bathrooms functional but dirty. There is laundry but no change machine so if you use it when they are closed you are out of luck. Great views staff is nice.

Chippewa Park has a few older amusement rides for kids that operate sometimes and not others. Lots of camping and hiking available, personally I go to enjoy the beach. The scenery is gorgeous, looks out to the Sleeping Giant, and the beach is nice and sandy. Just keep in mind the weather changes very quickly up here, sometimes it's a beautiful sunny day and out of nowhere it starts to rain.
