Fairport schools aware of staff member's 'law enforcement matter'

The Fairport Central School District shared a statement with 13WHAM Tuesday confirming that a staff member is dealing with a "law enforcement matter."

We are aware of a law enforcement matter pertaining to a Fairport staff member. The staff member has not been in a Fairport school since before winter break. The District will not comment on any law enforcement matter or personnel action.

The district declined to comment further or confirm any further details.
