You are managing so much, yet you feel stressed and dissatisfied. You want to find ways to connect to the genuine joys in your life so that you can live more freely and authentically. Yet no longer want to be held back by anxiety, depression or trauma. You need a therapist who is direct, non-judgmental and thoughtful. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I also use Accelerated Resolution Therapy which uses eye-movements and visualization to give clients quick and powerful relief to their anxieties or troublesome memories. I also offer access to the Safe and Sound Protocol which can be used at home for help with sensory overload.
I believe the brain-body connection allows us to manage symptoms such as anxiety and depression in ways that don’t always include talking. In this way, I am different from other therapists. Clients don’t have to commit to months of sessions of weekly discussions to get the change that they need.
My clients are busy people who are working hard to manage the demands of their own life while using therapy as a tool to improve how they feel and interact with the world around them. We will work together to reach specific and timely goals such as healing from an unexpected loss or resolving an issue from your past that continues to affects you today.
