Cornish heritage projects

There are always many Cornish heritage projects being carried out throughout Cornwall. These may be by larger heritage organisations, town teams, smaller societies and groups or individuals. If we can help promote your society, group or organisation's project - Click the Ertach Kernow LOGO

This is a new sharing opportunity and will help promote the hard work done, often by un paid volunteers about their projects and the activities involved. Let us know and this will enable us to promote the project across a range of media in Cornish regional newspapers and a various of social media sites and platforms.

Cornish Heritage Projects

There are heritage projects being carried out throughout Cornwall by groups large and small these may be historical, cultural or environmental. Kowethas Ertach Kernow wants to hear about them so we can share the news to as many people as possible. Let us know about your project whether it be a smaller community event like the new Nansledan Arts Festival elating to Cornish heritage or larger ones run by organisations such as Cornish National Music Archive, Cornwall Heritage Trust or Kerdroya seen here.

Cornwall's National Day - St Piran's Celebrations 2024

Towan Vintage - Cornish Vintage Book Store

Towan Vintage an extension of Kowethas Ertach Kernow aims to provide a wide range of Cornish books, art and memorabilia. The majority of these will be 'preloved' and we hope that this will create an opportunity for those interested in Cornwall's rich heritage will find these of interest. Sale of a range of other articles supports the gallery room and work of Kowethas Ertach Kernow in sharing knowledge Cornwall's historic, cultural and environmental heritage to a wider audience and reuse of books and sale of vintage items assists the circular green economy.

Wanting a particular book on Cornwall, perhaps we have it as part of our sale stock, but not yet on our website. Please send your enquiry to towanvintage@gmail.com. Besides books there are original vintage paintings available to buy of Cornish scenes or by Cornish artists, as well as vintage Cornish studio pottery. We also support local artists and have contemporary paintings for sale at Towan Vintage in the Cornish Coffee Lounge.

If you have digital images on your mobile perhaps, why not print these off and share them in a birthday card to family and friends. Digital is great, but in a nice frame a photograph can make a lovely thoughtful and affordable present.

Come along to the Cornish Coffee Lounge, browse Towan Vintage and meet Josh at Proper Photography Kernow who will help you with printing your digital images. Printing up to 8" x 6" on the Kodak kiosks and much larger on our Epson printer to A3 and even larger.

Sharing Cornish Heritage Online

Cornwall a Celtic Nation

Cornwall, or in Kernewek the Cornish language, Kernow, is one of the six Celtic nations. Kowethas Ertach Kernow supports the work of the International Celtic Congress and Celtic Nation Kernow the rebranded Celtic Congress Cornwall.
