Emergency Crews On The Scene Of Apartment Building Fire In Bobcaygeon

KAWARTHA LAKES-Emergency crews are on the scene of a fire at Main and Princess Street in Bobcaygeon.

The call came in at approximately 4 pm of a fire at a residential apartment building with 18 units. Police and the fire department responded to the call. When crews arrived heavy smoke was seen billowing from the premises. Witnesses say it appears much of the building is impacted.

Main Street and Princess Street are closed at the intersection.

The Bobcaygeon Food Bank says the Food Bank will open tomorrow (Friday) at 9 am for anyone who needs food supplies.  Bank accounts will be set up and open at CIBC by 9:3O am tomorrow (Friday.) Knox Church has clothing donations available and sleeping arrangements are currently in progress.
