Carpool Karaoke Sneak Peek! Jennifer Lopez and James Corden Open 'The Late Late Show' 's Primetime Special

James Corden is pulling out all the stops for his first "Carpool Karaoke" primetime special.

“I went to my network boss and said, ‘Screw it.’ Boss is like, ‘How ’bout a special? You wanna do it?’ the The Late Late Show host raps in PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek at the special’s opening number.

“So tonight, I’m on my way before 12:30, cleaning up my language ’cause I can’t talk dirty,” Corden continues in the song (set to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ "Downtown"). “I’ll make your TV shine brighter than a halo, all leading up to a Carpool with J.Lo.”

Indeed, Corden – who has driven around with Adele, Sia, Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey and many others on his talk show – will end his hour-long special with a karaoke session with Jennifer Lopez.

“Tonight we’ll give you something great,” Corden sings. “You’ll see what you’ve been missing late.”

The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special will air Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
