The hall is a large marble monument on the maidan of central Kolkata, having it's on the Queen's way. There are many great eateries here, including Dhamsa Tribal Restaurant for traditional Santali food, and other restaurants offering India, Chinese and Mughlai cuisine. You can also explore the Japanese Forest within the park.
One highlight is Cafe Ekante, located on an island, which serves delicious Chinese and Indian food. Some people might think it a bit morbid to visit graves. There are graves mainly of prominent members of the East India Company as well as other members of British society. It's worth the visit and one can spend entire day easily. Open play area and paid exhibits are good. Some of the attraction were in maintenance or not working. Prinsep ghat is located along the banks of the River Ganges. Along this bank, there are stone steps in regular intervals that lead you down to the waters. Infringed are benches for you to sit and watch glorious sunsets over the water while watching ships sail past you.
