James Kirk Obituary
James Kirk, age 78, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a proud Teamsters member. He was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church.
He loved Notre Dame football, gardening, cooking, and he was proud of his service.
Preceded in death by George Kirk, Doug Burris, George Edington, Bobby Edington, and Mandy Kirk.
Survived by son, Jimmy Kirk; former wife, Frieda Kirk; great-niece, Angel Phelps; great-nephew, Nicholas Phelps; niece Nikki Kirk; godson, Michael Davis; and many friends.
Visitation 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home, 1631 Parsons Ave., where a U.S. Army Honor Guard will fold and present the flag at 6:45 P.M.
HEALTH SAFETY - Franklin County is currently COVID level YELLOW. Masks are optional inside the building, unless you are showing symptoms of a cold or the flu. Please use the provided hand sanitizer before picking up the pen to sign the guest book.
