Emily Ratajkowski surprised fans when she tied the knot with her boyfriend of a few weeks, Sebastian Bear-McClard, in New York City in 2018. He's an actor and producer.

According to Bear-McClard's IMDb page, he's listed as a producer on indie films including Good Time (2017), which starred Robert Pattinson, Heaven Knows What (2014), and Still Life (2006).

He's close with the Safdie Brothers and is a partner in their production company, Elara Pictures.

Joshua and Ben Safdie are the New York-based writer/producer/director duo behind Bear-McClard-produced films Good Time and Heaven Knows What. The siblings are also behind the 2009 indie flick Daddy Longlegs.

In 2014, the Safdies launched Elara Pictures with Bear-McClard and producer Oscar Boyson as partners, Deadline reports. Heaven was the first project under the company.

He produced Uncut Gems.

The Safdie brothers took on the 2019 thriller Uncut Gems, starring Jonah Hill and Adam Sandler, according to Deadline. Bear-McClard co-produced the flick with Elara Pictures' Oscar Boyson, as well as Scott Rudin and Eli Bush of Scott Rudin Productions.

He's been nominated for several awards.

Bear-McClard has been nominated for several Gotham Independent Film Awards, including Best Feature Film for Good Time. He was also up for an Independent Spirit Award in 2014 for Heaven Knows What.

He and Ratajkowski were first spotted together on Valentine's Day in 2018.

The couple turned heads when they were seen engaging in PDA outside of Los Angeles eatery La Poubelle, according to the Daily Mail. The actress was rumored to have moved out of her previous boyfriend's apartment just weeks prior.

He's best friends with Internet meme king The Fat Jewish.

In 2014 the pair posed for photos and hugged on the red carpet during a Tribeca Film Festival event. The Fat Jewish, whose real name is Josh Otrovsky, was also present at the City Hall wedding today.

He isn't a fan of social media.

Despite being married to one of the biggest supermodels in the 21st century, Bear-McClard prefers to keep it low key. His previous Instagram account, on which he posted art and other abstract imagery under the handle @sebobear, has all but vanished on the Internetscape, according to ELLE Australia.
