Princess Love Norwood is a main cast member on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood since season three. She appears as a supporting cast member in season two.

While initially appearing in an antagonistic role towards Teairra. Princess’ role expands upon the second season, and chronicles her relationship with Ray J, and the start of her years long feud with Moniece. They eventually make amends during the fifth season reunion.

Her role fluctuates between major and minor, as appearances in later seasons become more sporadic.

Before Love & Hip Hop[]

Princess Love is a model, video vixen, and fashion designer. She was born in Oakland, California, and raised in Austin, Texas. She is an Afro-Asian of mixed ethnicity, her mother, Lena is Filipina, while her father, Hugh is African-American. She initially came into the public eye for dating and allegedly robbing boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr while working as a stripper at the Spearmint Rhino in Las Vegas. She began dating Ray J in 2013.

Love & Hip Hop franchise (2014–present)[]

Princess first appears as a guest star in season one of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, which chronicles her relationship struggles with Ray J, while feuding with his ex, Teairra. In one memorable scene, Ray pushes her into a pool during an argument. At the reunion, she gets into a physical brawl with Ray's former assistant, Morgan Hardman.

Princess joins the supporting cast in season two, which chronicles the aftermath of her 2015 arrest for alleged domestic violence against Ray. She initially tries befriending Teairra, before the two have a violent falling out. Princess and Ray eventually reconcile, and when he proposes to her in the season finale, she accepts.

Princess is promoted to the main cast in season three. Her wedding ceremony is featured in the season finale. Although credited in every episode of season four, she appears infrequently, her storyline revolving around her struggle to get pregnant. She is successful in season five, and the couple welcome their first child, Melody Love Norwood, in the special Ray J & Princess' Labor of Love. In season six, she announces that she is pregnant with their second child.

Princess also appears in the specials The Wedding, Dirty Little Secrets and The Love Edition.

  • In the fan-voted 2018 Mona Awards, Princess and Ray were nominated in the "#RelationshipGoals" category. They lost to Remy Ma and Papoose, receiving only 2% of the vote.
  • Even though the shows portrayed them as friends on the show, Princess had little to no relationship with Brandy Boyd, and at this time Princess called her out for posting a picture of her child for clout.
