Just last week I was mentioning to someone that it had been a while since there'd been a vault release from the Prince camp. I thought perhaps the estate had started fighting again and sued each other into paralysis. Glad to see I was wrong. But thirteen discs? There's got to be a lot of concert recordings to fill out that run time.

I'm very likely in for the version with 3 CDs of vault tracks unless they use Rush/Kiss/Pink Floyd's pricing structure and ask something like $300 for 8 optical disks. So far, the Prince CD sets have all had reasonable price-tags.
I am also wondering if a lot of those vault tracks are actually sourced from the Lovesexy/Black Album era. On one hand, I am surprised to not see a box set for that, because Prince experts have said that may be the richest era for unreleased Prince material. On the other hand, I'm not surprised it was skipped because it wouldn't classify as a real "marketable" album.

Sign ‘O’ The Times had a very similar format and if I recall was well under $160 on Amazon and other sites after release (it’s $128 right now)

I got notice today that there is a separate Dolby Atmos blu ray release of this one, that will not be included in the box sets. So, of course, I'll be buying both.

I don't know if you U.S. residents can order it from Amazon Canada given how Amazon's been with shipping to other countries over the past few years, but that Canadian price for the 8 disc set is pretty sweet. It's the equivalent of $76 US dollars.
