First, one of the funniest things in this film is the last line in the credits: copyright by Stonagal pictures. Nice touch. Hahahaha. The only flaw is using 1 Corinthians 15 as the call for the Rapture. That happens at the LAST trumpet (which isn't one of the trumpets in Revelation). It's when all humanity is called before Christ. That is proven by the verse they DID use, 2 Thess 2 that says "we who are alive and remain." In the Greek, remain means WE who are alive and survive the tribulation. Paul includes himself. Jesus warned US. Peter warned US. So did Daniel and the other prophets. As the movie said, WE are not to be deceived (Jesus warns that in Matthew 24 four times). We WILL go through the tribulation. Be ready. Time is short. Here is more info if you want it.
Matt 24:23 does not say that. It says “I say to YOU, this generation will not pass away until ALL these things take place.”
WE are told to look for certain things, over and over again. Here are some bullet points on that.
Matt 24:4 “See to it that no one misleads YOU.
Matthew 24:6 YOU will be hearing of wars and rumor of wars
Matthew 24:9 And they will deliver YOU
Matt 24:15… Therefore, when YOU see
1 Thess 4:15-17 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that WE who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord. V17 THEN WE who are alive and remain
Gk – remain-4035 – to leave over, to remain over, to survive [ask yourself, what are "we" surviving?]
Paul counts himself among those who may survive until the end.
2 Thess 2:1 Now we request YOU, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,
2 Thess 2:3 Let no one in anyway deceive YOU for it will not come unless [the falling away of believers and antichrist is revealed] comes FIRST.
2 Thess 2:3 and the man of lawlessness is revealed
GK – revealed- 601- passages of persons, previously concealed, making their appearance in public. [Some will see the outward manifestation of the man of lawlessness, committed believers will understand, by the power of the Holy Spirit, that this individual is the antichrist].
