The Little Devils are mini-masters of mayhem, created by an evil scientist. Dr. Lionel discovers an ancient mudpot from Hell, returning home with samples of it. Unfortunately, he has been possessed, and begins to sculpt Gargoyles, later giving them life. Of course, they then go about killing people and wreaking havoc.

Just when I think I've seen all there is to in a horror I see a devil made of clay abseiling down a building! :D There was fun to be had but felt much more like 80s/90s TV film cheesy romance than a horror for long portions. Worth a watch though for all the little buggers running around causing shit.

So this poindexter discovers an ancient mud pot from hell. Dude starts bringing the mud back to his house until he has his own mud pot from hell. Too bad the mud pot is mad evil and possesses him. He then begins to sculpt mud gargoyles who come alive and cause all sorts of mayhem. Mud pot mayhem.
A lot of the filler scenes are drab and some of the characters bored me. Main guy was kind of a knob. Like a B side from Boy Meets World. He wishes!…
Some dude finds devil mud and molds it into ghoulies, but he also gives them little flame-throwers, acid-sprayers, and uh, machine guns. Later on for some reason (I wasn't paying attention because it was people talking and not ghouls usin their tools) it turns out that the only way to beat them is soda. Bet you if Little Devils was called "Ghouls With Tools" at least 10 times as many people would have logged it on Letterboxd.
I guess my tastes really don’t align to the users of IMDB. At this point in time, Little Devils: The Birth sits at a shockingly low 2.3 — a rating it is utterly, utterly undeserving of. While this is no Gremlins, Little Devils is a blast from start to finish. I went in expecting dull garbage, instead I found scratching my head about its poor reputation. I would take Little Devils over Munchies or even Ghoulies any day. I would, however, not take it over Ghoulies III: Ghoulies Go to College, but who would? That’s the Citizen Kane of Gremlins cash-ins.

Little Devils:The Birth feels, and sometimes looks, like an extended episode of Monsters, but it's a lot more fun than that.
Marc "Skippy" Price, Nancy Valen and Russ Tamblyn must save the world (or, at least, a Toronto rowhouse) from foot-tall dolls equipped with tiny working weapons.
This is just so silly that it's impossible not to be charmed by it. I'm not sure why this apparently evaporated into the ether in 1993, but it deserved a little better than what it got.
What if the ghoulies had machine guns, flamethrowers, acid sprayers and even dumber faces?
Surprisingly decent comedic timing and bonkers characters abound, but feels slightly overlong and takes a while to get going (I didn't mind much because again these characters are whacky.)
Solid weekend morning stuff.
This movie was released in 1993, but it definitely has an '80s vibe. It reminded me of the Ghoulies franchise and also Puppet Master's episodes 4 and 5, those ones where the puppets fight some demons. Yeah, I know they're bad.
If you take this movie seriously you'll hate it. Little Devils is a good old trash fun. Maybe too trashy for some people.

Anyway, the little devil's are awesome and they have backpacks and guns full of acid & the only way to kill them is with soda pop. Would have loved more involvement from them, but things really get kicking in the last bit of the movie so I can't complain much.
