Benji and Cameron welcomed their first child, Raddix Madden, four years after they came together in a marriage that makes more sense than people think. Raddix was born in December 2019. However, the couple was able to keep the news under wraps, not announcing the birth until after New Years 2020.

Given the time that had gone by since the announcement of Raddix's birth, many did not know if or when Benji and Cameron were going to have any more children. But in March 2024, Benji made an announcement via social media that he and Cameron had welcomed their second child together. This time, a boy named Cardinal.

"We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden," Benji wrote. "He is awesome and we are all so happy he is here! For the kid's safety and privacy, we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s really cute. We are feeling so blessed and grateful."

It is not clear when Cardinal was born. But, if his journey to being here was anything like his sisters, then Benji and Cameron found a surrogate to carry Cardinal, something they turned to to have Raddix after IVF was unsuccessful.

Benji and Joel debuted Veeps in 2018. It was a platform, partnered with Live Nation, that allowed fans to experience live music as it was happening. For those who were unable to get to concerts, hearing it live was the next best thing.

But in December 2023, Benji and Joel took things to the next level and announced that they were bringing Veeps All Access to Smart TVs. This allows fans to now live stream concerts as they are happening and watch them as if they were there. While it is not the same environment as being there, fans get to see their favorite artists that, for whatever reason, they could not otherwise see.

"This platform is an entertainment platform, and I think it’s a necessity for music fans and artists. People in remote places, whether it’s another region of the world or in our own country, should have more access, in the same way they do their favorite sports team," Joel explained.

"Livestreaming is certainly different than going to a real concert — there’s something really magical about that. But it’s also magical for a fan who’s never been able to see their favorite artists, or to discover new artists, to be able to watch them live at home."

The idea was something that was born out of the COVID era, when concerts in their entirety were canceled.

"There’s a tier of artists who can survive a period like that," Benji stated, "but when you think about the working-class artist community that really needs to be able to tour and needs to be able to sell merch and make a living on a month-in, month-out basis, it’s a big deal."

The platform is beneficial for both fans and artists. It allows artists to reach out and create VIP interactive events for subscribers and a portion of the subscription fee goes to those artists who allow their music to be streamed on the platform.

Benji Madden Is Co-Chair Of Psychedelic Water

Benji has a variety of companies that he developed. There are other companies, however, that Benji is involved in that he did not directly start on his own. One of those is Psychedelic Water, which named Benji as a co-chair in 2023.

Psychedelic Water is a non-alcoholic water that has herbal supplements for "mild-mind boosting" capabilities. The company motto is that psychedelics are not something that is consumed but a "state of mind" instead.

The water is marketed as a product that is for the "sober curious" that is vegan and low calorie. It is "hangover-free" while providing a "clean buzz" for those who consume it.

Since its inception in 2021, the company has become the leading product in the industry of consumer psychedelics. The Psychedelic Water is geared toward those consumers who believe that mushrooms should be taken for healing and higher-thinking purposes. It is something that Benji consumes when he is working on his artwork.

By bringing on Benji as the co-chair, his job is to be "focused on guiding the brand's mission, creative direction, and growing the Company's global profile." Essentially, he needs to make the brand more mainstream by bringing it to the masses via social media and other platforms where his influence will help to sell Psychedelic Water.

Good Charlotte Performed At When We Were Young Fest

Good Charlotte both shocked and thrilled fans when they announced that they were going to be appearing at the When We Were Young Fest in Las Vegas in October 2023. This is because the last time that the band appeared together was at the Vans Warped Tour in 2019.

When Benji, Joel, and the rest of the band played, fans felt like no time had gone by. The same energy and intensity they have had over the years was what fans experienced. But better still, the group brought out a surprise performer: Lil' Wayne. When this happened, fans were blown away.

"I saw the Sunday performance and was blown away from start to finish, truly not a dull moment," one fan wrote.

Another fan said, "They were one of my favorites on Sunday. The crowd was shouting the words to all the songs... and they sounded amazing from where I was standing. Super clear and heavy loved every minute."

"I loved good Charlotte!" a third fan stated. "I knew the old and new stuff! If Green Day hadn’t been there they would have been my top performance of the day!"

While it would have been easy to be rusty after not performing consistently over the years, Good Charlotte, helmed by Benji and Joel, delivered performances that the crowd was so excited about, questions about whether Good Charlotte will tour in the future have been swirling.

The idea to start an artist management company began when both Benji and Joel were coaches on The Voice Australia. When it was clear that artists who made it to the final round needed management and that there was not only money to be made from starting a management company but Benji and Joel could impart their wisdom to up-and-coming artists, it was a no-brainer to start MDDN.

"People can just take advantage of you. I think we learned our lessons young, and we learned a lot and instead of letting it turn us bitter, we said what if we had a company that was looking out for artists that was fair, that was transparent?” Benji said.

"What if we helped artists build their lives so they could make the music they love and have the career they want but keep their integrity and soul intact? We want them to be more themselves. The idea that we can help artists develop careers based on our experience and on our relationships and all the resources."

Benji went on to say, "We have a building in California with three recording studios and video directors and everything that they need to do the things they need so that they don’t have to sign a record deal if they don’t want to. For us, it’s about freedom. It’s about power; it’s about being empowered. Hopefully, we can lend our experience and help them to make the best decisions possible."

MDDN was formed in 2014. Today, Benji is the CEO of the company, which that has helped him to amass his $40 million net worth and more toward the higher net worth that Cameron came to the relationship with.

The artist management company took off fairly quickly when they signed artists like Jessie J, The Architects, Bad Omen, Poppy, and more. Today, MDDN manages over 25 artists, including Good Charlotte themselves.

Benji does not take to social media to post many pictures of himself. But, what he does like to post on the page is his various pieces of art.

The art that Benji posts is everything from realistic to surreal and even abstract. While the art may vary based on Benji's mood, just as it does with all artists, it is clear that it is a reflection of what he is feeling at that moment.

Many fans have asked if they are able to purchase any of Benji's art or can see a show where it is displayed. To date, it does not appear that Benji's art is for sale, and he has yet to have an art show of any kind.

Much of the art that Benji does is tied back to how he feels about Cameron and his family. As such, there are sweet captions on Instagram that express how much he loves them and how grateful he is for them.

For the art that is made after drinking Psychedelic Water, it tends to be a bit more abstract. Something that, based on the description of the water, makes sense given the slight mind-altering properties that the water possesses.
