We had an incredible stay at The Fairmount this past week. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The concierge staff thought of wverything and anticipated our needs. We tried many of the restaurants and all were delicious. The grounds and the hotel were relaxing and beautiful. To top it iff this entire experience is set against the backdrop of the magnificent Lake Louise.

Hotel stay was part of a self drive tour of lower Rockies. Loved our stay at hotel. Road access bit bumpy but roadworks has started., parking expensive. Good excellent in Louiza for both breakfast and dinner. Alpine social is casual, had fish and chips and the chips were overcooked and whirly more for kids rather than adults!

This really is a very nice hotel. We only had a standard room but it was very well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. So nice to step out of your hotel and be able to see such wonderful views and take a lakeside walk in such a beautiful place. There are many eating choices dependent on your preferences and budget. We had a light dinner at the lakeview lounge which was very good and in the morning we used the guides pantry as we didn’t want a full breakfast. All the staff were attentive and friendly.

I arrived on a rainy day. Lake Louise was still icy. There was really no where to go. I decided to try to check in, even though it was only 1 pm. To my surprise, I was checked in by a polite and courteous staff. My room, on the sixth floor, was very comfortable. The view was incredible over the lake, even though it was still snow and ice covered. I can just imagine how stunning it would have been on a sunny day. I intend to return someday to see the beautiful view.
