THE INTENT BEHIND GETTING A FAMILY PORTRAIT DONE

She wanted us to do a portrait of her along with her 5 cousins on canvas. But this was not all. The family photo provided did not include all the members and required personal modification of adding two additional members to the already existing photo along with certain background and foreground changes. With customer satisfaction being our priority, we asked Mary to send separate pictures of the remaining members for us to build up a layout for the artwork. The pictures were gathered by her and received by us post holidays.

Up next followed multiple dialogues between both the parties regarding the artwork specifications. After reviewing multiple pictures provided by Mary, our art experts recommended at least size 24" X 18" oil painting based upon the layout of the image attached to adequately capture the intricate details onto the artwork.

The options provided for standard delivery incorporated the painting being delivered rolled up in a tube. Framing services were offered as well just in case she wished to receive it ready to display or gift (We offer free shipping on both framed and unframed artworks).

WE CHANGED THE FORMAL SUIT AND REPLACED IT WITH A CASUAL SHIRT

Further steps involved small and detailed changes such as change of attire from a formal suit to a rather casual shirt, the balancing of skin tones for better aesthetic values and a couple more photograph exchanges.

After multiple iterations and continuous dialogues with Mary, we fixed the perfect layout completely meetingher requirements. Once approved, we started working on the actual painting based exactly upon the layout, with the promise of completion in the upcoming 2-3 weeks.

THE FINAL FAMILY PAINTING

We completed the painting in approximately 3 weeks.
