The Looper is the player character, they are tasked by various operatives to complete missions. At first a simple observer during Chapter 1, it's from Chapter 2 that they became directly involved in the story becoming an ally for the other characters. "The Looper" nickname is given by The Foundation in the Zero Crisis Finale.
They are the overarching protagonist of Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as a minor character in Chapter 1, the main protagonist of Chapter 2, one of the two deuteragonists (alongside The Scientist) of Chapter 3 and the main protagonist of Chapter 4.
Note: A Looper refers to anyone who is caught inside The Loop, the character that the player embodies having never had their name revealed, they are nicknamed by various nicknames by the characters of the island, the most used being "Looper".

Kevin The Cube

Kevin the Cube is a Corruption Cube that first appeared in Season 5. They are sentient beings born from The Last Reality with malicious intent to corrupt everything. They attempted to annihilate The Island by invading it with Cube Monsters, but they were destroyed by the loopers. After the past was changed during Chapter 4: Season OG, it was deleted from history and replaced by its variant Kevin the Cube (OG).
It is a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the main antagonist of Season 5 and Season 6.

The ruler only known as "The Ice King" was the ruler of The Ice Kingdom. After one of his knight who was also his staunchest comrade The Prisoner became evil, The Ice King froze all his kingdom and teleported to Reality Zero where The Prisoner escaped during Season 7, only to be frozen under water for eternity, while freezing himself on The Ice Moon, making it unlivable for all beings.
He is a major character in Fortnite: Battle Royale serving as the main protagonist of Season 7 and Season 8.

The Prisoner was one of The Ice King's knights as well as his staunchest comrade before turning evil. He and the other knights were frozen by The Ice King to prevent them from causing chaos with items of powers when The Prisoner argued to use them to alter realities to their liking. He later escaped but was eventually defeated by the Ice King and imprisoned underwater forever. After the past was changed during Chapter 4: Season OG, he was deleted from history, having never appeared on the Island because Polar Peak Castle wasn't present on the Iceberg unlike the Original Timeline.
He is a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the main antagonist of The Ice Kingdom story arc, the main antagonist of both Season 7 and Season 8 and the posthumous overarching antagonist of Season 9.
Hybrids

Hybrids are a species of reptilian ninjas that work under The Prisoner and Doctor Doom. The Hybrid eggs were held by The Ice King until The Prisoner stole them and took them to his Volcano. They hatch and grow to their full form and are trained to become skilled ninjas.

The Devourer

The Devourer was a gigantic monster that was trapped under Polar Peak by The Ice King. It later escaped because of The Prisoner, but was defeated by the Mecha Team Leader. After the past was changed during Chapter 4: Season OG, it was deleted from history, having never appeared on the island because Polar Peak Castle wasn't present on the Iceberg. Its role of being a threat to the Zero Point was taken over by Kevin The Cube (OG) in the Altered Timeline.
It is a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the main antagonist of Season 9 and The Final Showdown event, as well as the posthumous overarching antagonist of Season X.

The Scientist

The Scientist is the engineer of The Seven, who is a self proclaimed "brilliant engineer, eccentric and sarcastic mastermind". He also refers to himself as the "handsomest member of The Seven".
He is a major character in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as one of the main protagonists of Chapter 1, a major character in Chapter 2 and one of the two deuteragonists (alongside The Looper) of Chapter 3.
The Nothing

The Nothing is a malevolent primordial entity born before the Zero Point. They are the one behind The Last Reality. They seem to be controlling the most, if not entirety, of the Chrome.
They are a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as a minor antagonist in Season X being first mentioned in the aftermath of The End Event, and the overarching antagonist of Chapter 3: Season 4.
Kevin The Cube (SX)

Kevin the Cube (SX) is a Corruption Cube that first appeared in Season X as well a variant of Kevin The Cube. It's sentient being born from The Last Reality with malicious intent to corrupt everything. It arrived in a different way than its Original Timeline counterpart, being ejected from its timeline and teleported to the Original Timeline by a Rift Beacon from the Scientist. After the past was changed during Chapter 4: Season OG, it was deleted from history, never having appeared because the Rift Beacon never existed. It is replaced by Kevin the Cube (OG).
It is a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as a minor antagonist in Season X and acting as a major antagonist of Chapter 2: Season 8 alongside the other cubes.

Chaos Agent, formerly known as Chaos Origins is a mad scientist, a secret agent and "The First Redeemed" of The First Shadows. He is one of The First Shadows and one of the founding members of SHADOW. Throughout Chapter 2: Season 1, Chaos Agent was watching the events unfolding, as he was experimenting on different individuals.
He is a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the main antagonist of Chapter 2: Season 1.

Midas

Midas was the founder of SHADOW, and the leader of GHOST during Chapter 2: Season 2. He had a major influence in the storyline of Chapter 2: Season 2; he triggered the Device event to push the Storm and maybe escape The Loop. He succeeded, but in revenge on Midas, the Storm created The Wall of Water and flooded the island. After that, he went back to working in the shadows, making his plans unknown.

John Jones

Agent John "Jonesy" Jones, or simply Jones and self-claimed The Legend is a former high ranking member of the Imagined Order who worked under the command of Doctor Slone. He betrayed the Imagined Order during the Zero Crisis Finale in order to save Reality Zero. After having been rescued from prison by The Foundation during The End event, he joined The Seven's army of loopers: The Resistance. He is the original man behind all of Jonesy snapshots.
He is the main protagonist of Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as minor character in Chapter 1, a central protagonist of Chapter 2, one of the two main protagonists (alongside The Foundation) of Chapter 3, a major character in Chapter 4 and one of the two main protagonists (alongside Doctor Slone) of Fortnite OG.

Jules

Jules is a young master engineer and daughter of Midas, constantly left under his shadow. She helped him build The Device to break The Storm. After the Wall of Water flooded the island, Jules built a wall around the remain of The Agency which became The Authority after she rebuilt it as SHADOW new HQ, and would exile GHOST agents making them create The Fortilla, a wasteland near the south of the island.
She is a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the secondary antagonist of Chapter 2: Season 2 and the main antagonist of Chapter 2: Season 3.

Thor

Thor Odinson is the God of Thunder and King of Asgard from Earth-616 who brought Tony Stark, Doctor Doom, Wolverine and more Marvel characters to defend Reality Zero against Galactus.
He is a major character in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the titular main protagonist of Nexus War: Thor, a minor character in Chapter 2: Season 3 and one of the main protagonists of Chapter 2: Season 4.
Galactus

Galactus is a Marvel character in Fortnite: Battle Royale introduced at the end of Chapter 2: Season 3. He had seeked to absorb the Zero Point's power to defeat the Black Winter. However he was defeated by a group of Marvel Heroes sent to Reality Zero by Thor.
He is a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the main antagonist of Chapter 2: Season 4, with the events of it building up to the The Devourer of Worlds Live event. Although he is no longer directly involved in the game as of Chapter 2: Season 4, his actions have had some significance, both negative and positive for seasons from Chapter 2: Season 5 to Chapter 2: Season 8 as well as Chapter 3: Season 2 during the Zero War.
Shadow Midas

Shadow Midas was a ghoulish version of Midas possessing power from the The Shadow Realm. Seeking revenge, he unleashed an army of Shadows and reanimated deceased GHOST Henchmen to take over the Island. However this would fail again due to the release of the Zero Point from The Ruins.
He is a supporting antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the titular main antagonist of Fortnitemares: Midas' Revenge, as well as the secondary antagonist of Chapter 2: Season 4.

IO Guards

IO Guards were the elite soldiers of the Imagined Order. Altough some were picked from skilled combatants from The Loop (whether a Snapshot or the real person, they were mainly recruited from others realities by the Imagined Order. They were mostly stationed in The Bridge, and worked under the command of Doctor Slone and Gunnar.

Raz

Raz was a researcher of The Spire, looking for The Spire after seeing visions of the mysterious tower in his dreams since his childhood. He helped The Looper research on The Spire for his own benefit and eventually found a piece of The Spire's Core that give him powers but also corrupted him turning him into Glyph Master Raz. Glyph Master Raz was defeated by The Looper and the artifact stolen from him. After that he returned to normal but lose part of memories of when he was Glyph Master Raz, only recognizing that he messed up. His power soon attracted the attention of The Last Reality to the Island.
He is a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as the main antagonist of Chapter 2: Season 6 and the posthumous antagonist of Chapter 2: Season 7 (as Glyph Master Raz).

Deathstroke

Maven

Maven was a corrupt IO agent that allied with The Last Reality. She had advanced knowledge of quantum mechanics who designed weapons of war for the IO. However, as she hated to create these kinds of weapons, she decided to help The Last Reality, wishing to discover more about their world and foolishly thinking she could convince them to save Reality Zero. She tried to kill The Looper, but she failed and was delivered by them to Slone, her fate after that became unknown.

Trespassers are robotic soldiers from The Last Reality lead by Trespassers Elite and Kymeras. They serve as field troops, undercover agents and saucer pilots and are programmed to eliminate all Loopers and destroy Realities. Surprisingly, they have been shown to have consciousness of their own, feel emotions and be able to act just like organic beings, ast hey are able to eat, drink and reproduce.

The Mothership's Corruption Cubes

The Mothership's Corruption Cubes were the cubes inside the Mothership that first appeared during Operation Skyfire. They are sentient beings born from The Last Reality with malicious intent to corrupt everything. The Shapeless Man is a malevolent entity wishing to achieve a goal of founding a world of perfect order he has imagined, seemingly similar to Geno. However Stellan's descriptions of him show that he is impatient and evil, he swallowed stars and turned Rift Warden Stellan's dreams into dark nightmares. He also threatened to destroy the Island if the Rift Gate failed, although he later revealed the Rift Gate failure was part of his mysterious plan, involving a prophecy from the exiled sages of the Oathbound.

Astrea

Astrea also known as The Beautiful Monster is a lone cosmic entity and wanderer wishing to fill the (literal) void she feels in her chest. As a byproduct, she's all consuming and tries to pull in everything in her vicinity. She is the entity referenced in the prophecy of the exiled sages of the Oathbound and she is linked to the fate of Princess Lexa and Prince Orin. Along with Kado Thorne, she is one of the multiple enemies who have taken notice of Reality Zero's faded power.

Chapter 4: Season 2
Triarch Nox

Triarch Nox formerly ruler of Night was a peaceful ruler before the fall of his kingdom which made him go completely crazy and he started destroyed realities and galaxies. For unknown reason, he allied himself with Dahlia and prevented anyone to access Peace Syndicate servers after Dahlia sabotaged them. He was stationed at the Peace Syndicate's terminals at Lonely Labs and Windcatch Lake. He later tries to take out The Looper, but fails. After this, he was actively considered an outlaw, with wanted posters of him everywhere in MEGA City. After the failure of Dahlia's plan he kept a low profile, until Kado Thorne arrived with a relic from his former kingdom, which he stole before leaving the island

Dahlia is a member of The Unseen as well as the one who sabotaged Peace Syndicate's servers and corrupted their files on the Army of the Last Reality. She is also the saboteur who tried to start a war between all the Syndicates during the Syndicate Quests.
She is a major antagonist in Fortnite: Battle Royale, serving as one of the two main antagonists (alongside Triarch Nox) of Chapter 4: Season 2, and a minor antagonist in Chapter 4: Season 3 and Chapter 4: Season 4.

Kado Thorne was an ancient vampire of The Eclipse, the leader of the Eclipse faction. He was a time traveler, a thief and a wealthy collector. He traveled through time, stealing items from different time periods, leaving behind a calling card and a portrait of the Eclipse. Before seemingly dying at the hand of The Looper and Shimmerdusk, he was up to a "sinister" and yet unrevealed plan. However he survived and arrived on Helios.

Kevin the Cube (OG) is a Corruption Cube that first appeared in Chapter 4: Season OG as well a variant of Kevin The Cube from Fortnite OG Timeline. It's a sentient being born from The Last Reality with malicious intent to corrupt everything. It arrived in a different way than its Original Timeline counterpart and planned to devour the Zero Point instead of invading the Island with Cube Monsters. As it was "non-hostile" toward loopers, they didn't unite to attack and destroy it unlike to the Original Timeline, allowing it to act freely, putting in great danger the Island of that reality. This Kevin takes on the antagonist roles of his two counterparts as well as those of The Prisoner and The Devourer.
