        Verve recordings from 1952-1958. The album contains several tracks from the 1956 recording “Lady Sings The Blues.” Holiday’s voice is more fragile like most of her later recordings however, the emotion and meaning is there just as much and probably more. A great addition to any Holiday collector’s collection. All songs were standards in Lady’s repertoire and very well known by Holiday fans and the perfect compilation album for jazz collectors who like Billie (like all jazz buffs) but, don’t collect her specifically.
