Stiv Bators, also known as Stiv Bator, was an American vocalist. He was a member of punk rock band Dead Boys and rock band The Lords of the New Church.

His father was born in Kluknava, Gelnica, Slovakia, to a Slovak father and an American-born mother, of Slovak origin. Stiv was said to have been of Romani descent. It is not clear if this is accurate.

Stiv’s paternal grandfather was named Steven Bator. Steven was born in Slovakia.

Stiv’s paternal grandmother was named Anna Halko. Anna was born in Pennsylvania, to Slovak parents.

Stiv’s maternal grandfather was George Samuel Denmeade (the son of Harry Denmeade and Lena Thomas). George was born in Pennsylvania, to English parents. Harry was the son of George Denmeade and Martha Allen.
