Ticketmaster Discount Codes & Promo Codes (June 2024)

Ticketmaster is the primary vendor for the majority of live event venues across the country. This means that most major stadiums, arenas, theaters, and more sell their sports tickets, concert tickets, and theater tickets using Ticketmaster’s platform. This is why you’ll often see their company name and logo on the PDF tickets or mobile QR tickets you have scanned to admit your entry at events. But if you’re looking for Ticketmaster coupons, you’ll want to keep reading.

Though they’re the largest primary ticket site, they do host listings for ticket brokers reselling their tickets. They now do it on their main site rather than what used to be their resale platform Ticket Exchange by Ticketmaster, formerly known as TicketsNow. This makes their resale branch more of the same as most of its competitors (with the exception of TickPick, the only major ticket marketplace without any hidden fees, but we’ll get to that in a little bit).

These things can get a little confusing for fans at times, given they can go to an event and see a mix of tickets for sale that range wildly in price. That’s because they’ll show both primary tickets at face value, as well as ticket listings from brokers. The brokers already purchased seats at face value and then put them up for sale through their Ticketmaster account.

Given that Ticketmaster is the largest ticketing site with the greatest market share due to its partnerships with so many teams, they don’t necessarily offer Ticketmaster discount codes or promo codes to their customers because they don’t really need to. With that said, there are still ways to save on Ticketmaster tickets, and we’ve outlined them below.

How to Save Money on Ticketmaster

While finding Ticketmaster special offers isn’t easy, the company rarely offers Ticketmaster promo codes to fans that they can redeem to save on live event tickets. One of the easiest ways to save money on certain tickets through Ticketmaster is to explore their Ticket Deals page, which offers 2-for-1 tickets, 4-pack ticket discounts, and ticket deals of under $40.

Another way to save money on Ticketmaster tickets is to take advantage of presale codes for select tickets that Ticketmaster offers to fans who use a certain credit card (AMEX, Citi, Chase, Capital One), fan club members, local venue presales, Spotify presales, and more.

These presale tickets are available to use during the week of the event’s on-sale date. Just so you know, presales usually begin on Monday, while the general sale is on Friday of that same week. Buyers can utilize these presale codes and take advantage of an exclusive offer on the Ticketmaster website or Ticketmaster app.

Another way to save money on Ticketmaster tickets is to know how to get seats as soon as they go on sale. Check out our blog on tips for buying Ticketmaster tickets.

Is There a Better Way to Save Money on Live Event Tickets?

If you’re looking to buy tickets, there is a way to get great deals on cheap sports tickets, concert tickets, and theater tickets, and that’s TickPick. Plus, we’re the only major secondary ticket marketplace that doesn’t charge any hidden fees, which means TickPick customers save with no discount code required, although we do give fans ways to save money on tickets as well as new customers a discount of $10 off!

TickPick was the original no-fee ticket marketplace, which has helped fans fave money over competing ticketing sites like Ticketmaster, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek, StubHub, and Gametime. The vast majority of tickets on all resale ticket sites (more than 95%) come from the same ticket brokers. However, other sites either roll in or add service fees at the end. But not TickPick.

If you’ve ever thought that you found a great deal on a sporting event, concert, or theater tickets through Ticketmaster, only to find that they’re adding upwards of 30% in service fees at checkout, you’ll find comfort in knowing that all tickets on TickPick are always great deals without hidden fees, and the ticket price you see is the price you pay at checkout.

Other ticket sites use this bait-and-switch technique to get users to the checkout page, where they’ll find that those same tickets that may have appeared to be more expensive on TickPick were cheaper in the end.

How is TickPick Different Than Ticketmaster?

1. No hidden service fees: Unlike Ticketmaster’s hidden fees at checkout, TickPick shows all-in pricing & has no hidden fees.

If you’re interested in alternatives to buying event tickets on Ticketmaster and saving some money, TickPick is the site for you to buy tickets. Sign up for $10 off of your first order!
