For your consideration is my Dean Cadillac “Kill,” Rob Barrett signature guitar. These seem to be very hard to come by, especially this clean.
This originally came with EMG pickups, but I swapped them for Seymour Duncan Custom Shop Nazgül and Sentient pickups. With the pickup swap I also had the components switched out to Mojotone 500 K pots, Mojotone input jack, and Mojotone three way toggle switch. The top volume knob isn’t on quite straight, and I haven’t been successful in trying to make it fit as I did not want to damage the finish or pot, but it still functions 100% as it should.
Tuners are open back Hip-Shot locking tuners, which are top notch and really help keep this thing in tune perfectly. I can’t say that I know what the bridge is off the top of my head as it’s something I’ve never come across before, but it works splendidly.
The inlays are what really drew me to this (aside from being a huge Corpse fan). They’re fetus skeletons with the word “Kill” at the twelfth fret. All others that I’ve seen seem to have different inlays and symbols at the headstock, so there is that possibility that you’ll see one without fetus inlays or may have a pentagram or something on the headstock.
This is a very heavy and thick guitar. I would venture to say it’s between 9 and 10 lbs. I’ve never actually weighed it, but none of my other guitars wear down my back and shoulders the way this thing does.
This comes with a hard case and a strap will also be included in the case when shipped.
I recently cleaned the frets, fretboard (which you may see some of the fret polish on the board, but it comes of with the wipe of a cloth), and polished the whole guitar. Finish is a satin finish, which I recommend glass cleaner wipes to clean as they leave the guitar looking awesome and clean without damaging any of the finish.
Feel free to message me with questions or concerns. All sales are final and I will not accept returns unless the guitar arrives broken beyond repair. I’m not a big brick and mortar store, just an enthusiast and I won’t be be burned by someone abusing the “As Is,” policy again. Not being rude, just trying to protect myself and my wallet. With that said, be sure this is what you want before you buy it and ask any questions you may have before finalizing, not once it arrives. I’ve done my best to show and list anything of note, but if you’d like more info or photos, don’t hesitate to ask
