Airline Summary
A joint venture between Malaysia-based AirAsia and Thailand’s Asia Aviation, AirAsia Thai (FD) is a low-cost carrier that operates from a primary hub at Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport (DMK). Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), Phuket International Airport (HKT) and Krabi International Airport (KBV) are secondary hubs. The airline’s fleet consists of 44 Airbus A320 variants. AirAsia Thai flies to about 40 destinations, including 18 within Thailand. International destinations include Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam.

Worst airline ever. Customer service is horrible. Flight delayed 2 hours causing us to miss the connection (another Air Asia flight). The rebooking took over an hour. No sorry. No drink. No snack. Nothing. Then they rebooked us for a flight that was boarding now. We ran across the entire airport with toddler and they still left without us. WTF!!! Never ever again.…
