Lynwood High School Reviews
Rating 3.47 out of 5 401 reviews
As someone who attends Lynwood High, I have mixed feelings about this campus. The facilities are not up to date, and parts of the ceilings are open in classrooms because the school doesn't want to pay for it. Our school spirit is pretty good at the games but not many people participate in the events by our ASB. However, our ASB is not that welcoming and lacks the proper technique to plan an event and not plan it last minute. However, our fine arts programs, like Dance and Band, are very successful in the school and Dance wins most of the competitions + are loved by the school. The education at the school is alright with some teachers doing their job and making kids want to continue learning, but some teachers tend to sit at their desks and hand out work without explaining or giving help to the students. I would like the atmosphere to be changed and to have more teachers who care about their kids. Overall, the school is okay but it has its perks and flaws.
The best part about this school is the teachers. They are caring, funny, and make an effort to build a relationship with their students, ensuring they get a safe and fun environment to learn in.
In my experience in attending Lynwood High School I have been able to learn from great teachers that have influenced my educationally path beyond the classroom. I have made many friends at my school which have brought many happy moments in my life. I have took advantage of every opportunity given to me at my school whether it was free food, library, free tutoring, etc. Although my school needs to revamp the school spirit for students to enjoy high school more.
