The University of Texas at Arlington is a very good school despite what everyone has to say! This school and this campus has lots to offer and it has offered me some good fond memories, friends and very high quality education. I am glad that i chose this school considering the fact that i did not have a first choice university. The campus is also quite safe and protected. The food is actually pretty good and it is full of diversity of different types of foods and different types of people from all around the world. It is nice to be surrounded many types of cultures from all over the world as well!!! Going back to my education i’ve never experienced professors that actually care for your education and they are very chill about lots of things and then they are very willingly to give extensions on assignments as well which helps you out if you are busy but they some will deduct points. it really depends on the professor.
I like the diversity at UTA. At UTA you find all sorts of people with different backgrounds and culture. I love interacting with people of different culture and horizons than me. University of Texas at Arlington is the world in miniature.
There are a lot of resources to help students study and do well in their classes. The school encourages diversity and community among the students. The only thing I would like to change about UTA is for them to add a Fashion Design program because it’s the degree I’m interested in.
I have never dealt with change very well and my first year of college was frightening because it was a drastic change from what I was used to. I had to leave all of my friends behind and start over in a new city, I had to move out of my childhood bedroom into a dorm where I couldn't feel at home, and I was out in the world on my own.
It took me about two weeks to start to feel at home. I met this girl and we quickly became best friends, I excelled in my courses, I joined many clubs, and I became close with my roommate.
I couldn't be happier to go to school at UTA, I love it there. I easily made friends and found my place there. Now that my first year is over and I'm back at home, I'm counting down the days until I can move back in.

I have had such a warm welcome at UTA. Nothing better, everything was done right. I would like more flexibility with housing though.
UTA is one of those schools you go to learn but at the same time it makes questionable decisions on how things get done still it is a decent school all around.
I enjoyed studying at UTA. The professors in the management department were wonderful and I learned so much. The program wasn't overly difficult and was possible while working.
My experience: I like how it's very diverse. I just wish there were more events to meet people and interact with students.
The University of Texas at Arlington is not only a tier 1 school, but it is also one of the most internationally diverse schools in the area, they also offer excellent work-study and other on-campus jobs to help students afford their education. I loved my experience as a Resident Assistant, gaining invaluable exposure to project management, organizational administrative skills, and network development of international relationships. My education at UTA taught me to collaborate effectively with people from diverse regions, strengthening my capacity to work across cultural boundaries and ultimately becoming a more effective leader. I can’t think of anything I would want to change.
I honestly had a very different Idea of what this school would be like versus what it actually is. From the first day I have always felt at ease navigating the campus to communicating with my peers. I feel safe in this environment. I would recommend anyone who likes to be in an easy to navigate environment that’s small. There are some things that can be improved such as accessibility. It’s disappointing to be a person with a disability, my main way of getting around is in a wheelchair. The elevators are always out which is an inconvenience.
For my first year here I really enjoyed the events they threw in order for students to come out of their shells. I met some of my closest friends throughout these events and some groups namely a group I am in called Focus. (Fellowship of Christian university students)
My major just became an actual major last semester(Interactive Media aka Animation) and it does not fit with my track and field schedule so it’s frustrating.
My experience at The University of Texas at Arlington has been splendid. I've experienced fun moments with new friends I met in my classes. My professors have always been understanding about any situation I have been in. UTA library is where I spend most of my time studying and relaxing after class.
The main complaint I would have to say about this school is that it is far too overcrowded. They accept more students than they have the housing space for. Not only that but the people who work in housing are not amazing. Also, the food at the dining hall is... not good. I rejoice the few times the food is any kind of decent. But the people are nice and the professors are great.
The University of Texas at Arlington was a very good school. Everyone was friendly. The school was diverse and the students were serious about learning. If you need assistance, the professors were available to help. The MAC was also a state of the art facility. It had everything that you could need in a gym. The school offered a lot of resources and opportunities.
Need more advisors desperately!
Need more professional mentoring to give a better chance of employment after graduation.

My overall experience there would be pretty great. I had no problems going there no problems with the campus or professors. everyone there makes you feel so welcome and at home you wouldn’t even notice a difference
The college is good for a basic bare minimum college. It is cheap, however courses are unorganized and very hard to pass, and there is little to no supplementary help or assistance if falling behind on courses
I was the University of Texas - Arlington for a short period of time but overall really liked the campus. It was a very lonely experience but I personally do not mind that.
Live the school. I went there during undergrad and found great stuff and connections there. I came back to a more affordable program.
