Fred C. Beyer High School Reviews
Rating 3.59 out of 5 304 reviews
Beyer High school is a great option for academics and sports. It’s a diverse school and has great clubs which allow students to connect with the community around them. Much of the staff is approachable, but 50% of the teachers aren’t portraying their subject well to the students they are supposed to be teaching. The food given at Beyer, and other schools in this district, aren’t very healthy as none of the main courses are fresh. Most of the meals come from freezers and are reheated to serve. Beyer offers college courses to take that count towards credits which is quite helpful as a way to get those extra classes taken care of. I also think that schools should be more considerate to girls who have their menstrual cycle during their kinesiology class. It’s odd to me that females aren’t allowed to dismiss themselves from activities on days when they are in excruciating pain. There are definitely some things to work on at Beyer, but the environment is nice. :)
My experience with Fred C. Beyer High School has been decent. Through the my 3 years of being in this school I believe I just now recently have started to understand what this school provides to offer. I have joined more activities since I now know what they actually have other than one thing, such as Robotics and track, in robotics I thought it just had to do with building the robot and not it having other sub teams that goes along with it, same with track it doesn’t just have to do with running. The teachers at this school don’t really teach us well and enjoy their job which affects us to not achieve the academic we deserve as students. We don’t really have many clubs to apply to and only have a certain amount and not really known when the club rush happens. The school food they provide is good even though it is free food. They do let us know about college knowledge, scholarships, and volunteer opportunities
I think that while Beyer could use some improvements it is overall a pretty good school to attend. We have ample resources for college and career as well as a supportive sports program.
