Just three words: «Diamonds Are Forever».
Good enough to hear it again and again and again and again. I love all the songs but there are some of them that are simply the best songs of the album: «Diamonds Are Forever» —aka; that is why I got the album— and «Thunderball» —aka; I love the orchestral touch—. The rest are at the same level, I mean, they are all good songs, but those two are pretty good.

Getting dancified remixes of two of the best instrumental tracks from Bondian lore is quite a treat. Particularly OHMSS is given a breath of fresh air by big beat pushers, The Propellerheads while Leftfield tackles the already hardcore sample classic "Space March" from You Only Live Twice. From there the proceedings are decent if unspectular. Jarvis Cocker gives a nice tongue in cheek rendition of "All Time High" while Bukem tackles the Bond theme.

Excellent. I haven´t listened to it for a long time but I remember it distinctly as a very cool party CD. Every track came out very convincing.

Bit hit and miss, as the originals, in many of the cases, are sacred cows.
Stand out by a long way (and most seem to agree) is the Propellerheads version of OHMSS, kicks ass at maximum volume. The JB Theme isn't half bad either, a real tangent on the original.
The Moonraker theme simply isn't a very good track and no attempts at breathing life into this limp little ballad would ever work, and frankly Jarvis Cocker just sounds like a sex offender on 'All Time High'.
The instrumentals work best. I've had this CD for some time and it gets a lot of play.

This is one of those albums that, in years to come, you'll suddenly pull out and say to a friend: "Guess who's singing this track?"
David McAlmont's version of Diamonds Are Forever narrowly fails to outcamp Shirley Bassey, while Jarvis Cocker's version of All Time High immeasurably improves upon the dire original.
Low points include Martin Fry's weedy attempt to sing Thunderball and Natasha Atlas version of From Russia With Love.
Impossible to miss The Propellerheads reworking of OHMSS - awesome!

This is OK but the only great track is Jarvis Cocker singing "All Time High"

Propellerheads' cover of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is pretty good. But what makes this disc actually worth listening to is Mr. Osterberg's crooner-style cover of "We Have All the Time in the World." Iggy is one of the underrated vocalists out there.
