The film stars K Manikandan as Arun, Sri Gouri Priya as Divya Shanmugam, Kanna Ravi as Madan Wanders, Saravanan as Arun’s Father, Geetha Kailasam as Arun’s mother and Harish Kumar as Suhail. Prabhuram Vyas has written and directed the film. Shreyaas Krishna has worked as the cinematographer and Barath Vikraman has done the editing.

Lover (2024) Plot/ Synopsis
The official synopsis reads, “Caught in throes of his inner turmoil, Arun’s long-term relationship with Divya is put to test. Can they weather the storm or will choose to part ways?”
As seen in the trailer, Arun and Divya are a couple who have often broken up but found their way back to each other. However, Divya needs some time to think about the relationship. Arun doesn’t react well to this, and he starts doubting himself and projects his issues on her. They even speak to his parents about getting married, but his dad questions Divya about being with someone like Arun.
The trailer focuses on how the couple deals with issues like trust, insecurities, and differences in status. Will their love prevail amidst all the problems? That’s something to look forward to in the movie.

Lover Filming Locations
Merry Christmas, and Jawan actor Vijay Sethupathi did the film’s inauguration ceremony. The filming started in August 2023 and was completed by November 2023. The team shot for the movie at Gokarna and Chikkamagaluru.
