Founded in 1748, Wilmington Friends provides an education rooted in timeless Quaker values (notably simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship). We continually seek opportunities to evolve and grow, and to create a learning environment where children—preschool to grade 12—can be themselves while becoming their best selves. We provide a challenging, customizable program that welcomes families of diverse backgrounds, provides varied opportunities, and develops the critical and original thinking, work ethic, self-advocacy skills, fellowship, and commitment to equity that create informed scholars, leaders, and world citizens.

Wilmington Friends School Reviews
We love that our son is receiving a diverse experience and learning to embrace so many different areas of knowledge. We also love the lower school Natural Playground - a safe outdoors area with nearby woods that allow the children to explore and play. There are many more things that we could mention, but I would summarize to say that we have been so happy to partner with WFS and recommend this school without reservation.
