Serves
Step up to the baseline with the Selkirk Vanguard S2 2.0 and confidently serve. This paddle is a serving laser beam, giving you the mass and balance to start every point with an edge. With the choice between a slightly heavier midweight and a swift, lighter model, you can dial in the perfect level of drive and control for your serve. The ample sweet spot ensures your serves are powerful and consistently accurate (I can’t emphasize that enough about this paddle). I reduced faults and increased pressure on my opponent. The Quantum-CarbonFiber face provides the additional benefit of a textured surface, so when you want to slice your serve or add a bit deceptive spin, you’ve got technology on your side.
I was able to really drop some serves in difficult to return spots with the S2 – beyond what is normal.
