In the autumn of 1993, Greg LeMond and his wife, Kathy, were sitting at home in the suburbs of Minneapolis, when they received a visit from Linda Mooneyham, the three-times Tour de France winner has recalled. Her 21-year-old son, Lance Armstrong, had just become the world champion and she had travelled from her home in Texas for advice.

"What does he do now?" she asked. "What does he do with his money?"

"Well, let him find an agent – a good one with an attorney," LeMond replied. "And one word of advice – just be his mom."

They sat on the porch for a while and then moved inside to the kitchen. Linda had something else on her mind: "How do I make him less of an asshole. He doesn't care about anyone."

"Well," LeMond replied. "I can't help you there."

"You probably failed parenting during his childhood..." Would be my take.

Whenever I feel down I just remind myself that I have just as many Tour de France victories as Lance Armstrong, and twice as many testicles.

Still a lying, faux-bully justifying his shitty deeds 20 years later

He is truly evil. How he treats people in the past who tried to expose him.

I always hated the cameo he made in Dodge Ball. At the time, I suspected he was cheating and for him to give a holier-than-thou speech in the film still bugs me.

He does a silly interview in “tour de pharmacy”. Definitely funny but also it’s possible to laugh at him instead of with him in it

I've met him in person, he's an incredibly unpleasant person.

Tell us more about it. What made him unpleasant?

When I lived in Aspen I would see him and another person riding together frequently up the maroon bells.

Around Aspen he was known as a rude jack ass to anyone.

At first I thought it was him just being tired of fans cause I could meet in the middle and understand that.

However after seeing him around town and how he interacted with people in general, he's just a massive dick.

Cooler Celeberties to meet in Aspen were arnold, Jack black, Sam Worthington and Carl urban. Joseph Gordon levits was also pretty chill

A portrait of cyclist Lance Armstrong after his admission to the use of performance-enhancing drugs, told through the stories of former friends whose lives and careers he is said to have destroyed. Lance Armstrong enriched himself by cheating his fans, his sport and the truth. But the former friends whose lives and careers he destroyed, would prove to be his nemesis.

This gentleman is a champion. He won the tour 7 fucking times on a level playing field.

He ruined people's lives and careers. He has no tour wins to himself. And if he tries using the excuse that everyone else was juicing then he's as morally bankrupt as he should be financially.

I'm still annoyed that sponsors haven't gone after him for their money back. I want to see the asshole destitute.

Nice try Lance.
