It is overall a good experience! I like the way the school is set up but it does have its challenges. I was bullied in my younger years for being the only white kid in a predominantly Mexican school but now the diversity has definitely expanded. I like how a lot is online but the teacher still try their best to do in person learning and teaching. We don’t have really any clubs or activities to participate in other than sports.
I have been attending Wilder High school for 4 years. My experience attending wilder has always been good. All the teachers are always supportive and help you as best as they can. I have also played sports while I have attended wilder high school. My experience playing sports has always been good the coaches are very supportive
I am a 2023 graduate from Wilder Middle/High School, during the years of my educational career here at Wilder, I would say that it’s been a decent run. While we gain the ability to have personalized learning, it didn’t work out as well as we all hoped it would be, students would put off there work until the end of the year where they would send in very clearly rushed in work which wouldn’t prepare us for the way that higher education is practiced in turning work on time. However, on campus, the students here didn’t bully others, they mostly stayed respectful and kept to themselves. Also, we got to work on iPads, which helped us get more information need for our work that some of us who couldn’t afford much learn a lot of new information. I would like to see this school improve on getting their students ready for college and life, such as turning in work on time, applying for college, and figuring out how to do their own taxes.
