  1. Jay Karia says:

The match list on this DVD is excellent. I bought it a few months ago and I’m very happy as it was on my wish list since it was released.

  2. JoMo says:

I wish the street fight between Sheamus and Bryan was on the DVD version too, as I don’t own a Blu-Ray player. Other than that this is a must buy for me

  3. Anonymous says:

No Christian & Jericho reunited tag match?? Brutal.

  4. Anonymous says:

Disappointed in the blu-ray extras, looks like a DVD pick for me.

  5. Jeremy says:

Glad to see Sandow vs. Sheamus! Excellent match.

  6. Anonymous says:

Great listing but hardly any Jericho, not to mention others like Brodus Clay, Antonio Cesaro & The Shield. Sheamus/Jericho on Smackdown was one of the best TV matches of the year IMO

  7. Anonymous says:

Only one thing from raw 1000 wow I’m shocked

  8. captain planet says:

Very happy to see Beth Phoenix vs. Natalya made the cut. Wasn’t Beth’s last match, but it may as well have been.

  9. Anonymous says:

I don’t see why they can’t wait another month to release it so they can include content from December.

    • Dave says:

Would that really have a HUGE difference in your buying decision? RAW in December weren’t even that great, especially the two taped shows (Christmas eve and New Years Eve), they were entertaining but don’t belong on this set. Nothing else was really memorable.

They usually include a video package or some sort to sum up December, which is probably what they will do with this set.

      • Joe T. says:

I hate to be this picky but actually it makes a HUGE difference to me personally. I think besides maybe Punk, The Shield was easily the best part of 2012 (& they didn’t debut till mid-late November). They left Cesaro off completely & he has started to main event Smackdowns in December. Not to mention I’d MUCH rather something like the Miracle on 34th Street Fight match capping of the set than ANOTHER Orton match, when I think this has not been a good year for him & he was out for months. This listing isn’t bad but the only match I think belongs on Bluray extras is the street fight & I think they could have left out alot of filler to add some end of Nov./Dec. material.

        • WWEATTITUDEERA says:

If you want some highlights from Raw/Smackdown in december 2012, the upcoming blu-ray release of TLC 2012 here in the UK/Europe should cover that as Blu-ray ppvs now include the fallout from the PPV instead of highlights before the ppv.
I also would have like to see a Cesaro Match as i have grown to him but you cant have everything, and the 34th miracle street fight between Cena and Del Rio just sucked and embrassment to watch, if you were to show that match to a non-wrestling fan they would be like WTF you watch wrestling for that type of matches, Ending with the Orton Del Rio Falls Count Anywhere from the UK Smackdown is a good way to end the DVD/BR as everything else after that just sucked, RAW Kinda Dragged Towards the end of 2012 so it will be interesting to see what WWE have lined up in 2013!!

      • Anonymous says:

It’s not that much of an issue, it would just be better if they could include footage from all months of the year.

  10. X-23 says:

The 2011 DVD was a FOUR disc set. 2012 is three discs? C’mon man!!

  11. Steve says:

It should be 3 disc Blu Ray. Just goes to show how far Raw & Smackdown! Have fallen

  12. john peterson says:

Thank god they skipped over the Christmas stuff.that was painful. If only they would put the Sandow vs Bryan Match from that episode cause of the Silence Vs No part at the beginning.Thats the only thing I would have taken from the Christmas eve Raw

  13. I’m glad that the Daniel Bryan/Dolph Ziggler match from 10/22 RAW (in East Rutherford, New Jersey) made the listing. Also went to the 12/10 RAW (in Newark, New Jersey). However, it pisses me off that WWE left out not only any matches/segments from the Newark RAW that I went to, but the other shows from November 12-December 31

  14. charlie f says:

Looks decent. Would have liked sheamus vs antonio cesaro, punk vs bryan from smackdown and jericho vs ziggler from raw.

  15. Bill says:

I was front row center at the July 30th Raw when I scrolled through and saw nothing I was very sad but then on the Blu extras was the Sheamus/Bryan street fight. Would have bought anyway but was hoping for this all year. Day one buy.

  16. Garry says:

Ashame that we’ll have to wait till the 29th to get this DVD. After reading the contents, I want it now. Wish Jericho vs. Ziggler from August, after SummerSlam was on there. Didn’t get to see that match, but hey.. What can you do?

  17. Marty says:

Jan 29 is too far away. Their TV sets are among my favourites and this is no exception. A lot of matches listed that I’m looking forward to rewatching.

  18. james says:

I wish they would include all debuts in these things, even if they’re not great matches it helps add to the historical factor when you watch these five years down the road.

  19. Really like the listing, plenty of action on there and I’m glad to see the excellent Punk/Cena promo from the Night of Champions go home show is there. Only complaint would have been it may have been better to have Punk vs. Cena on there from Raw 1000 rather than the DX promo, but that’s only a small thing. Looking forward to picking this up in…June?

    • Jeffrey says:

I wish the Punk/Cena from the go home show to Night of Champions was on here but its actually the promo they had in August not September :/

  20. macho man fan since '85 says:

i was hoping The Main Event would be featured as well, IMO The Main Event has had some great “wrestling” matches and those matches should be featured here as well. Do away with some segments & and match or 2 and there would be plenty of room or make it a 4 disc 3 blu set.

    • Vincenzzzzzo says:

Not sure how you thought The Best of RAW and SMACKDOWN would have Main Event matches on there….Lol. Ok.

      • Dave says:

LOL! i know…if anything Main Event matches would show up on superstar compilations or one of those countdown type releases.

Sheamus vs. CM Punk was an awesome match from the first Main Event that will hopefully be released on DVD/Blu-ray in the future and others like Kofi vs Miz and Cena vs. Sandow.

        • Vincenzzzzzo says:

I’d definitely like to see “The Best of WWE Main Event and Superstars” Blu-ray eventually one day. That Punk / Sheamus match was really good.

          • macho man fan since '85 says:

or simply change the title of the release to best of raw, sd & the Main Event.. either way i’m hoping to see some M.E matches realeased at some point

    • captain planet says:

I’d rather they wait 4-5 years and do a Main Event compilation from that. There will be plenty of material, presuming Main Event retains its quality and lasts on-air that long.

  21. macho man fan since '85 says:

i was hoping The Main Event would be featured as well, IMO The Main Event has had some great “wrestling” matches and those matches should be featured here as well. Do away with some segments & and match or 2 and there would be plenty of room o rmake it a 4 disc 3 blu set.

  22. Anonymous says:

    3 DVD’s and 2 Blu-Ray Disc’s … ONLY??? 🙁

  23. Matt says:

How does Antonio Cesaro not feature on this set I swear he should have aleast one match worthy enough of being on it.

  24. Chris Smith says:

There’s enough good content on there for me to buy it, but I can’t believe the bloody DX reunion gets another showing! It was on the Raw top 100 moments (a DVD which contained the whole 1000th Raw anyway!) and of all the segments from Raw 1000, they still pick that?
I’m not trying to hate on DX (too many people have that covered already) but the fact that this now has 3 appearances over 2 different DVDs is a complete ego stroke!

    • Cody says:

I’m also surprised that they didn’t include the daniel bryan cm punk and kane rivalry and any of the end of an era hell in a cell match hype along with the triple h brock lesnar the perfect storm match hype on raw I’m surprised they didn’t put that on here either along with Jericho’s actual return and Jerry Lawlers return from his heart attack.

    • pmdmf says:

If there was one moment that deserved to be repeated from Raw 1000 it is the Brothers of Destruction reuniting to beat up 6 guys, in my opinion.

  25. neverAcquiesce says:

This should have just been the entire Raw from the night after WrestleMania.

  26. Dave says:

    Looks great.

Was hoping they would include Bryan vs Punk from Super Smackdown from February 21, 2012, but the Jan 30/2012 is great too, and the recent Sheamus vs Antonio Cesaro from RAW Nov. 26/2012.

  27. Vincenzzzzzo says:

    CM Punk vs. Mr. McMahon
    RAW • October 8, 2012

Thats ALL I wanted… and needed to see. Sold.

    • Marty says:

      ^This.

I can’t wait to see Vince’s slip-and-slide tope suicida on the announce table again! 🙂

      • Vincenzzzzzo says:

Lol… or Punk on the headset mocking Vince’s commentary after smashing Vinces head off the table -“What a manuever”

        • Dave says:

LOL! that was great…Vince is always entertaining in his matches. Always look forward to them, especially when its a street fight.

  28. Joe Israel says:

Spoiler warning for my review: This will be worth the price for anger management alone.

  29. StaggerLeeLover says:

Best thing on this… it was brilliant

    WWE.COM EXCLUSIVES

Chris Jericho is interviewed after his return

  30. brandon says:

this is boring but the brock lesner, john cena, anger management, and beth pheonix vs natalya im looking forward to everything else i dont care about

  31. SRB says:

I loved the Heath Slater moments. Glad we got at least one of those!

  32. John says:

Pretty good listing, I must say! I can not wait to get it!

  33. lee says:

well it just goes to show you doesnt it….. in 2010 each brand got a 3 disc dvd/2 bluray set. in 2011, a 4 dvd/3 bluray combined set, and now for 2012 they could only muster 3 discs/2blus between them. it seems a decent lineup, ill check the SD stuff out more (since i only watch the live ones) so beth vs natalya is interesting.

  34. AJ says:

Also, I would have liked some more stuff leading up to WrestleMania-promos between Jericho/Punk and Triple H/Undertaker. I’m usually very positive on WWE DVDs when others are sour, but it’s a really underwhelming set. I always look forward to the Best of RAW, but not this one.

  35. X-23 says:

    No December matches? Sigh

  36. jgreeds says:

no love for the Jerry Lawler return?

  37. AJ says:

I’m left a little disappointed. With all of the good matches from the 3-hour RAWs, some really good ones didn’t make it. I really wanted CM Punk vs Dolph Ziggler from the first RAW of last year and Jericho’s return. Would have been happy for a 4th disc (3 blu-ray), but oh well.

  38. CaptainCrazy says:

    yes yes yesyesyesyes yes yes

  39. insanetombstone96 says:

    Just awesome!
