Zakir Hussain joins with sarangi player Sabir Khan and bansuri player Debopriya Chatterjee to offer a special Trio of Hidustani music in Spring 2024. Sabir Khan, son of the legendary Ustad Sultan Khan, is known for his very rare combination of notes and rhythm meshed with an extraordinary vocal technique. Debopriya Chatterjee, a disciple of the great Hariprasad Chaurasia, has made an impact not only as one of the few female bansuri players today but also through her Western and non-Western musical influences.
